There are so many things due this week, and there’s calculus midterm on Friday… AND I STILL DON’T KNOW WHATS GOING ON.
I’d just stare at every question and be like “hmm… so now what?”
GOD SAVE ME
Anyway, I’ve been watching a new Korean Drama called Kill Me Heal Me. This drama is apparently very popular in Korea right now – I didn’t watch it because it is popular but because the plot is about a man who is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder – DID- (or Multiple Personalities Disorder as people commonly know it as) and has 7 different personalities. What interests me is that they used a psychological theme for a romantic-comedy and the terms used by the female lead (who is a psychiatrist) also ties in with the things I learn in Uni, so it’s kinda fun to “revise” while watching a light-hearted drama! Last year I did a psych project on DID… and did you know that
“The number of alters varies widely, with most patients identifying fewer than ten, though as many as 4,500 have been reported.” – Wiki
4500!?!!!?!?!? That’s crazy!
And read about the woman with 100 personalities: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2011/sep/30/kim-noble-woman-with-100-personalities
